NCC (JUNIOR DIVISION – BOYS)

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Junior Division Boys Wing was introduced in Army Public School, RK Puram in June 2001 under 1 (T) BN NCC, Hyderabad Group HQ.

The school is allotted Troop No. 09 with an authorized strength of 100 cadets (1 x Full Troop). At present, the school has a total enrollment of 100 cadets, including 43 second-year cadets and 57 first-year cadets, with no deficiency reported.

The NCC activities are guided by Mr. Bhukya Suresh, TGT (PTI), who serves as the Associated NCC Officer (ANO) and has successfully completed the Refresher Cadre (PRCN) training.

NCC Junior Division (Boys) is the State Govt sponsored and funds for the following are provide by   1 (T) Bn NCC :-

            (a)       Payment of Camp expdr for Cadets/ANOs         

            (b)       Two pairs of Uniforms & Accoutrement

(c)        Hiring of BCA/GCA                        
(d)       Refreshment of Cadets                 
(e)       Washing allowance to cadets                  
(f)        Payments of expdr for ANO undergoing PRNC/Refresher Courses at OTA
(g)       Honorarium /Rank Pay to ANO

8.         Allotment of vacancies for NCC Senior Division (Boys) has applied to 1 (T) Bn NCC.  Vacancies have not yet allotted.

NCC – JUNIOR WING (GIRLS)

The NCC Junior Wing (Girls) was introduced at Army Public School, RK Puram in June 2001 under 7 (T) Girls BN NCC, Hyderabad Group HQ.

The school is allotted Troop No. 152 G with an authorized strength of 100 cadets (1 x Full Troop). The present enrolment strength is 44 second-year cadets and 36 first-year cadets, with no deficiency.

The wing is currently headed by Mrs. Usha Mani Naidu, PGT (PE) and Chief Officer, who will be relieved from her ANO duties with effect from 31 December 2025. The School Management Committee has nominated Mrs. Padmaja C.M., TGT (Science) to take over the duties of NCC JW (Girls) as the new ANO.

NCC – SENIOR WING (GIRLS)

The NCC Senior Wing (Girls) was introduced at Army Public School, RK Puram in October 2012 under 7 (T) Girls BN NCC, Hyderabad Group HQ. The school is allotted Troop No. 49 G with an authorized strength of 53 cadets (1 x Half Company). At present, the wing has 26 second-year cadets and 27 first-year cadets, with no deficiency reported. The Senior Wing is guided by Mrs. S. Padmavathi, TGT (Mathematics), who serves as the Associated NCC Officer (ANO).
